The Road to Herd Immunity in a Covid World

In the light of the vaccine distribution, I have been doing some research in regards to herd immunity and the percentage of people fully vaccinated required to achieve it. Most European countries needed 70 percent of the population to be vaccinated before herd immunity was achieved. The exact number needed varies on the country but it is usually between 60-80 percent.

I found this wonderful website that documents the percentage of people who have been fully vaccinated in the United States. It also shows percentages for states, age ranges, sex, race and ethnicity.
